Vietnam’s furniture and wood products have established a strong presence in over 120 countries and territories, showcasing the country’s growing reputation as a reliable global supplier. The industry’s product portfolio is diverse, with wooden furniture accounting for more than 90% of total output, complemented by a wide range of bamboo furniture, rattan furniture, and synthetic wicker furniture that cater to various markets and design preferences.

Currently, Vietnam is home to approximately 4,000 furniture and wood processing factories, employing around 300,000 skilled workers across the country. These facilities are equipped with modern production technology and adhere to international quality standards, ensuring that Vietnamese furniture meets the demands of competitive export markets.

The Vietnam furniture and wood industry is predominantly export-oriented, with 80% of total production destined for international markets. This strong export focus has propelled Vietnam into the ranks of the world’s top furniture exporters. In 2015, the country achieved $7 billion in export value for furniture and wood products, securing its position as the 5th largest furniture exporter globally, after China, Germany, Italy, and Poland.
